I don’t currently have a designated writing space but I hope to sort something out soon.
I like to write on my commute home when I have the inclination. I have a dinky little laptop that fits in my handbag and I can whip it out in small spaces to type things up. It’s a nice way to unwind after work. It does depend on which train I get home though, as some routes and times get very busy.
I’ll also get comfy on the sofa or bed to write. I’ll gather snacks, research material and a cup of coffee nearby and get cosy.
I will have ideas at work and jot them down, maybe even starting online research if we are quiet. The ideas I have while suffering from insomnia often get left behind as I don’t always remember them in the morning, and jotting them down isn’t always practical.
