Keeping a Journal

I attempt to keep a journal. Sometimes I do it well and write every day, sometimes it will be weeks without an entry.

It’s half bullet journal, half regular journal. I record my steps, sleep patterns, binge-watching, savings and the like in monthly lists along with trying to record events, feelings and all that jazz.

I find creating the layouts for the lists each month quite therapeutic. Conversely, I find writing journal entries occasionally frustrating. This is often due to lack of time, or due to thinking too quickly for my writing speed and falling over the words and making stupid errors.

You can tell when I’m having a lousy day as my handwriting is terrible. If you can read it then it was probably a good day.
