Christmas Radio Times

As is traditional, when the Christmas Radio Times came out earlier in the week, it was purchased and then poured over to see what festive fare was in the offing on the television later this month.

I know most people whip out a highlighter or a biro to select their viewing, but I sit and make a rough list on paper and then lay out a personal schedule of what I want to watch.

This year it’s mainly the festive offerings from Richard Osman’s House of Games, Mastermind and Only Connect. There’s lots of vintage editions of Top of The Pops too, and a few Christmas editions of other game shows and programmes that have been picked out. There’s a fair bit I’ll end up watching on catch-up because of seeing family and all that. (Plus I’ll need something to watch while the other half is in work.)
