Christmas Eve Part One.

Obviously, things haven’t gone to plan this year. I was doing really well with the daily blogs until I was knocked off my feet by the flu. I am behind with everything Christmassy, including my plan to read A Christmas Carol.

However, despite Christmas movies going unwatched and me getting absolutely no baking done or managing to get everything put away in time –

  • The decorations are all up
  • I have fruit!
  • The fridge and snack cupboard are full of goodies
  • The Christmas playlist is on, and the disco lights are twinkling
  • I have made my Christmas jewellery
  • The presents are all wrapped
  • Stuart’s Christmas Eve box is ready for after he gets in from work (a selection box, and a couple of little treats to build while we watch telly and drink hot chocolate)

Tomorrow we will make merry, eat far too much and enjoy each other’s company. On Boxing Day, we are off to my parents, and Stuart sees his parents on Saturday. (He goes on the bike, so I will be staying at home.)

I planned a different Christmas Eve blog, so that will get posted shortly.
