Space Cat Revisited (A Tribute To Tilly)

Last month our lovely cat, Tilly, died. She was an old lady and we were with her until the end giving her lots of love and cuddles. It’s been quite an adjustment for us. Stuart has lived with her for about seven years or so and I have known her for five of those. I’d never had a cat as a pet before, and I was pretty allergic to her, not that stopped her occasionally sleeping by my face over night! The house feels very different without her.
In the early days of my relationship with Stuart I would take photos of Tilly and cut and paste them into Sci-fi film and TV images to send to him at work to cheer him up. This is how the legend of Space Cat was born. I even put them all into a book for a Christmas present, and we have a photo tile on display of Captain Tilly on board the Enterprise.
I had previously made a post about these but I managed to wipe out my blog database and lost everything. Now seems a good time to recreate the post and hopefully it stays around for some time because these were fun to do at the time and we will always remember our Space Cat. The photos are in the order they were originally created and sent along with their original captions. (Apart from the last one obviously.)
