Things To Look Forward To Before The Year Ends.

We are in the final quarter of 2025, the nights are drawing in and it’s getting cooler by the day. Is there anything to look forward to before 2026 arrives?

Personally, I have a few things on the horizon. There are two concerts coming up. Firstly, there’s Graham Nash in a few days. The venue is directly across the road from where he was standing when he started writing the song Cold Rain. Then in December, there’s Trevor Horn. This is an all standing concert, which is a cause for concern, but hopefully all will be well.

I am looking forward to staying cozy in the winter months. In the past, I’ve had to commute to work, which involved early mornings and waiting on freezing cold railway platforms, to go into a shop without proper heating. It actually feels strange not charging up power packs for my heated gilet or ensuring both sets of hand warmers are charged to keep me warm throughout the day. This year I get to stay reasonably warm and have a constant supply of hot drinks.

Christmas plans aren’t confirmed yet, but I am looking forward to the festive season. I’m on a countdown to when I can reach out the tree and decorate the house a bit.

And on New Year’s Eve, as 2025 ends, I can look back on a year where there was positive change and I took control of my life and chose to be happier. And then I get to look forward to a whole New Year of adventures!
