I’m Just This Girl, You Know

Geek, music lover, renowned waffler.

I never know what to write on about me pages. I’m not very interesting really. I work in a shop selling Beatles souvenirs to tourists in Liverpool, but I live in Salford. I seem to spend a lot of time on trains to and from work, or at stations waiting for said trains.

I am (as I type this) heading for my 50th birthday but haven’t really grown up much. I listen to a lot of music, like to read and often scribble down notes and ideas that never come to fruition.

I make necklaces, earrings and bracelets as a form of occupational therapy. I sell them on Etsy to fund my excessive charm buying habit.

I can be pretty nerdy, and I’m usually inwardly having a mild anxiety attack if I’m interacting with people or just existing outside any of the safe bubbles I have created. I have a love/hate relationship with social media.

When I am not at work I like to spend time with my boyfriend and his cat, usually watching movies and eating pizza.
