Pay As You Go Audio Books

With a lot of people looking for alternatives to the billionaire run companies, a few newer audio book providers have sprung up. The one that has appealed to me the most is xigxag. It’s a pay as you go model rather than a subscription service.
Most of their audio books are £8.99 each .The full price books get cheaper the more you buy over a twelve month period. (It resets after this and you start again.)
There is also a reasonable collection of audios available at £3.99. These don’t count to towards to full price books getting cheaper, but there is a good selection and they do change them fairly regularly too.
I don’t listen to audiobooks that often so buying one every now and again suits me better than a subscription.
They do something called x-books too. I haven’t tried one yet though. It’s some kind of read along and listen experience.
You need to get their app to listen to the books and you can buy through the app too, however if you purchase via the website you can use book tokens towards the cost of the audio books too. (The payment systems via the app are controlled by the relevant app stores who take a cut, there is no system in place to accept tokens this way)
If you fancy giving it a try you can get your first full priced audio book for £3.99 if you sign up via my referral link here. (I will get a free book every time three people sign up and buy their first book, but there’s no pressure to sign up this way, you can forgo the discount and go directly the site at https://xigxag.co.uk/ if you prefer.)
