I have been trawling around the internet, including Pinterest, to try and find inspiration for some blog posts. Nearly every list is identical. There’s nothing I don’t see listed on numerous sites. I have found some to twist to my own ends but not many.
I get the impression that most are configured to help you create cookie-cutter blogs that algorithms really like so you can make money from clicks and things like that. I don’t blog to make money. This is a hobby to help keep my mind active and basically to entertain myself. I freely admit there are affiliate links and I plug my Etsy shop but I try not to be pushy and it’s totally up to you what links you follow. I am not going to get rich overnight on them, nor do I expect to.
Some of the questions seem a little ‘off’ to me too. Encouraging you to tell secrets that have never been told and betray long-held trust with people. Really? I don’t think so!
So, I’m going to create a little content, and schedule a few pre-cut blog posts because it’s winter and there’s not a lot happening right now but hopefully they will be of vague interest.
I am also working on bigger and, hopefully, better posts to come.
And of course, there’s the Five For Friday posts. I’m quite enjoying constructing those and trying to come up with something for each week.
In the meantime, I’m glad you are here and reading this stuff, and I hope you will stick around.
