Sunshine Came Softly Through My Window Today

This morning was a bright one. I was up and dressed at a reasonable time and since we needed milk we popped up the road to the supermarket. It was even brighter outside! The shop is about a five minute walk from the house and the sun shone all the way until we got to the car park and it clouded over and drizzled a little bit. The weather remained drizzly till we got home.

But those few minutes of sunshine and that tiny bit of fresh air seemed to recharge me, even after a few lousy nights of sleep.

I came home and in no particular order I swept the living room floor, attempted to dust away some ceiling cobwebs (I’m a bit short), washed up and put the pots away, cleaned the kitchen including the cooker and drainer by the sink, did a washer load clothes and even remembered to get them out of the machine and onto the dryers. I also glued some cabochons into pendant trays to make pretty shiny things later in the week. All in one afternoon. I’ve even made a list of things to try and get done tomorrow.

I hope to carry the energy on through the week and get lots done. (Not all housework though, I have little flowers to embroider and shiny accessories to make.
