
Self Care And Me
I’m not usually the greatest at self care. I think part of that has been my previous erroneous assumption that it meant spa days and pamper sessions.
Now I realise that self care is things like eating properly, managing your time to allow for fun and relaxation, chilling with the cat, timing time out with a book or a movie, getting enough sleep, going for a walk…that sort of thing.
So i try to have three meals a day, go to bed earlier to read or listen to a podcast, I get up and get dressed instead of sitting about in my pyjamas and I try to keep a positive mindset.
It seems to be working too.
